European Quality of Life Surveys (EQLS)

The European Quality of Life Survey is carried out every four years.

EQLS picture of fieldsThe European quality of life survey (EQLS) examines a range of issues, such as employment, income, education, housing, family, health, work-life balance, life satisfaction and perceived quality of society.

The survey was carried out for the first time in 2003, covering 28 countries (25 Member States and three candidate countries).

The second iteration took place in 2007 and the full descriptive overview is now available. A number of more detailed secondary analyses will follow.
