Understanding, anticipating and managing change: identifying the drivers of change (conference summary)

'What drives change' was the question discussed by 150 participants representing the Social Partners, European organisations and the European Institutions at a conference in Brussels - October 23, 2001. The conference, organised by the Foundation under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency marked the official launch of the European Monitoring Centre on Change. EMCC is one of the main measures proposed in the European Commission's June 2000 Social Policy Agenda. This report is based on what was said and achieved at the launch conference.
