Presidency priorities

The French presidency focused on three overall priorities:
  • A more sovereign Europe: The sovereignty agenda since the Sorbonne speech
  • A new model for growth: Cimate, social, digital 
  • A humane Europe: Investment, values, youth, culture, health

Eurofound's contributions to presidency activities

Eurofound contributes to a range of different meetings and events, providing expertise in the areas of employment, social and work-related policies and preparing supporting documentation as requested by the presidency. See some examples of our contributions below. 

14–15 February 2022: At the request of the French presidency of the Council of the EU, Eurofound prepared a background paper for the informal meeting of Ministers of Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs (EPSCO).
