This event is organised by the Labour Market Observatory (LMO) of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) in Brussels on 1st April 2014.
The Labour Market Observatory is currently carrying out an assessment of the policies put in place in Austria, Croatia, Finland, Greece, Italy and Slovakia to help young people find work. This public hearing on youth employment will be held as part of this work and will involve, among others, the European Commission, MEPs, Eurofound and national stakeholders.
Eurofound Research Manager Massimiliano Mascherini (Employment and Change Unit) will participate in the opening session on State of play in the European Union: youth unemployment, measures for youth employment, implementation of the Youth guarantee, good practices chaired by Maureen O’Neill, President of the SOC Section of the EESC.
