Abstract
Die EU hat das Jahr 2010 zum Europäischen Jahr zur Bekämpfung von Armut und sozialer Ausgrenzung erklärt. Soziale Ausgrenzung ist die Folge zahlreicher Probleme, denen eine Einzelperson oder eine Gruppe ausgesetzt sein kann, wie zum Beispiel Arbeitslosigkeit, Diskriminierung, schlechte Bildungssituation oder geringes Einkommen. Foundation Findings liefert allen Akteuren und Interessengruppen, die an der gegenwärtigen europäischen Diskussion über die Zukunft der Sozialpolitik beteiligt sind, relevante Hintergrundinformationen und Hinweise für die Politik. Die Inhalte beruhen auf Forschungsarbeiten von Eurofound und spiegeln die autonome trilaterale Struktur der Stiftung wider.
