Event background
The International Congress on Occupational Health is the most visible activity of the ICOH (International Commission on Occupational Health) whose aims are to foster the scientific progress, knowledge and development in occupational health and safety. The ICOH Congress is now one of the world’s largest international congresses in the field of occupational health and safety where experts from all around the world gather every three years to share their experience and knowledge.
ICOH Congress 2015 - Global Harmony for Occupational Health: Bridge the World, will provide participants with various opportunities to exchange the latest knowledge and information on occupational health and safety by holding five parallel conferences including the 30th APOSHO Annual Conference, 25th Korea-China-Japan Joint Conference, 10th WHO-CC Meeting, etc. The Policy Forum will be also held to map out strategies for the future challenge in occupational health and safety in Asian and global perspectives. In addition, the International Safety and Health Exhibition will serve as a good chance to introduce and learn state-of-the-art technology and equipment related to occupational health and safety.
Eurofound contribution
Jorge Cabrita, Research Officer, Working Conditions and Industrial Relations unit, will make a presentation in the special session 'Monitoring Working Conditions in a comparative perspective - the EWCS and the KWCS' on 4 June at 2pm.
