Workplace innovation - fostering productivity and quality of work

EMCC company network seminar, 27-28 June 2005, Bologna, Italy

The European Monitoring Centre on Change (EMCC) company network seminars bring together all actors involved in change, in particular those at company level: managers, trade unions and the workforce. The aim is to share their 'hands-on experience' from different sectors and EU countries, and to draw lessons from an in-depth exploration of the company cases presented.

'Workplace innovation - fostering productivity and quality of work’ is the theme of the next one in the series. Co-hosted by the Fondazione Instituto per il Lavoro, it will be held in Bologna, Italy, on 27-28 June 2005.

The seminar will explore the relationship between new work organisational models in companies and their impact on productivity levels and human resources developments.

Some four company case examples will offer an insight into innovative corporate management practices enabling companies to improve operational and financial outcomes, while also reducing turnover and enhancing quality of work.
