The conference is organised jointly by the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan and Eurofound under the patronage of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
Objectives
The EU Member States differ significantly in terms of productivity and efficiency as well as working conditions. This conference offers a unique opportunity to explore whether companies could provide better working conditions while also improving their competitivenes and performance. It will look at best practice in this field and the role of government, employers and trade unions.
The conference brings together European and Polish experts and social partners.
Content
The conference begins with a keynote address by Michał Boni, Minister in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
Eurofound will present the findings of three recent reports summarising over 20 years of Eurofound research on:
innovative practices in the organisation of work and business results;
the quality of working conditions and productivity;
management practices and sustainable organisational performance.
PKPP Lewiatan will present the results of nationwide research on social dialogue at the workplace level.
A concluding panel debate will follow on how to make the working environment more human-friendly.
