Jan Kouwenberg RIP

It was with great sadness that we learned of the untimely passing of Jan Kouwenberg, previous Chairman of Eurofound’s Management Board, long-standing Board member and Executive Board member representing the Dutch workers.

Jan was an ardent advocate for tripartism and sound social dialogue as a fundamental tool for European progress. He engaged at all times with integrity, honesty and good humour and he will be greatly missed. Eurofound has lost a strong supporter of our work, a committed and knowledgeable Board member and a very good friend.
