The European Association for Population Studies (EAPS) and the Hungarian Demographic Research Institute (HDRI) are organising the European Population Conference 2014 in Budapest on 25-28 June 2014.
The event will be held at the Corvinus University of Budapest and will focus on 'Transitions: Opportunities and Threats' in population studies. Topics for discussion include Internal Migration and Urbanisation, Health, Wellbeing and Morbidity, Mortality and Longevity and Economics, Human Capital and Labour Markets.
The programme includes about 120 scientific sessions, plenary and poster sessions, side meetings and exhibitions.
Eurofound will be represented by Klára Fóti, Research Manager at the Living Conditions and Quality of Life Unit, who will give a presentation on Intra-EU mobility: demographic and social consequences for sending and receiving countries in the session on International migration and migrant populations.
