This conference is organised by the Irish Services, Industrial, Professional and Technical Union (SIPTU) and the Dublin-based Institute for the Development of Employees Advancement Services (IDEAS).
Practitioners in the field of workplace innovation will be able to participate in the workshops on Wednesday 1st May, which will contribute to the development of a strategy for the expansion of this process across industry both within Ireland and across Europe.
The speakers and attendees at the conference include Jack O’Connor, SIPTU General President, Sean Sherlock TD, Minister for Research and Innovation as well as academics, representatives from the trade unions and employers organisations, the EU Commission and State Agencies (Forfás, IDA, and Enterprise Ireland).
Eurofound will contribute with a presentation by Manuel Ortigao, Research Manager in the Working Conditions and Industrial Relations Unit, who will take part in the debate on the European perspective of the current policy on workplace innovation.
