Ms Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science, outlined her ambitions with the Innovation Union Flagship initiative, the research and innovation pillar of the Europe 2020 strategy that aims to boost growth and jobs and tackle Europe's most pressing societal challenges, during a visit to Eurofound today.
Ms Geoghegan-Quinn was accompanied by David Harmon, Member of her cabinet in charge of external relations and relations with the European Parliament.
