The Youth Employment Summit is organised by the European Youth Forum (YFJ), the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and the National Youth Council of Italy (FNG) in cooperation with the national youth councils of Spain, France, Germany and Portugal in Turin on 9-11 July 2014.

The event will be held in parallel to the Summit of Heads of State and Government, which will take place in Turin on 11 July 2014, and will focus on the issues related to the offer and demand of jobs for youth:

  • Creation of quality jobs and sustainable growth

  • European labour market policies

  • Skills, Competences and employability

At the end of the conference, constructive input and concrete recommendations on youth employment will be transmitted by the delegates to the Summit of the Heads of State and Government.
