Event background

15th conference ‘Social Monitoring and Reporting in Europe' - Increasing divergence and changing social trends in Europe? Longer-term developments and consequences of the pandemic

Eurofound is providing the online hosting for the 15th Social Monitoring and Reporting in Europe conference on 9 March 2021 from 09:30 to 17:30 (CET) / 08:30 to 16:30 (GMT). The conferences of the European Social Reporting Network have been held annually at the German-Italian Centre for the European Dialogue, Villa Vigoni, at Lake Como in Italy. Bringing together a range of experts in their field, these events have become a meeting ground for in-depth debates on comparative social monitoring and reporting, well-being and societal trends in Europe, as well as policy-related issues.

The 2021 conference focuses on two main issues:

  • What are the longer-term social developments in Europe and did they result in increasing divergence recently, as some observers suspect?

  • Are we currently witnessing a reversal of relevant social trends due to the Coronavirus pandemic?

Registration to the conference is now closed.
