As we are come to the end of another turbulent year with COVID-19 disrupting our living conditions and working lives, we reflect on its impact and challenges on living and working in Europe.
During the past year, Eurofound has continued to provide you with research findings and data on a range of issues. We have also contributed high-level input to the Portuguese and Slovenian EU Presidencies as well as several key policy debates on teleworking and the right to disconnect, platform work, care and healthcare, gender equality, and minimum wage, among others.
We have had many timely online debates with you on issues ranging from game-changing technologies to equality and inclusion, gender equality and living, working and COVID-19 during which our experts have provided their insights into key policy areas. We have also offered our expertise and insights in our new series of podcasts.
Finally, we published three flagship reports on working conditions and sustainable work, the digital age and upward convergence which draw on all research findings, data and analysis over the past four years in each area.
We believe recovering from this pandemic means rebuilding hope for the future, and hence we will continue to provide knowledge to assist in the development of better social, employment and work-related policies, as outlined in the new Programming document 2021-2024: Towards recovery and resilience and in our publication calendar.
Looking to next year, in cooperation with the Irish Government, Eurofound is organising its 7th flagship Foundation Forum 2022. We look forward to working with you in sharing our knowledge and expertise.
We take this opportunity, on behalf of Eurofound and its staff, to thank you for your support and wish you and your family a peaceful Christmas and a happy New Year.
