Abstract
This Eurofound research paper builds on the European Restructuring Monitor (ERM) data and provides an overview of key trends in restructuring in recent years, highlighting the companies, sectors and regions in Europe that experienced the greatest job losses and job gains. It also examines the various types of restructuring, including offshoring and reshoring. Recent trends are examined in the light of digital adoption and the green transition.
