Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the transition to hybrid work, where employees split their time between working from home and on-site. While this model offers increased flexibility, it also introduces unique challenges for managers requiring innovative approaches to leadership, communication, collaboration and employee engagement.
This report examines how hybrid work influences management practices, organisational culture and job quality. Building on Eurofound’s previous research on hybrid work, it will inform policymaking on hybrid work by fostering sustainable and resilient hybrid work arrangements that benefit both employers and employees.
