Abstract

Pelo segundo ano consecutivo, a pandemia de COVID-19 continuou, em 2021, a ser uma força determinante na vida e no trabalho dos europeus, tendo a Eurofound prosseguido o seu trabalho de análise e registo dos múltiplos e diversos impactos nos Estados-Membros da UE. Viver e trabalhar na Europa 2021 apresenta uma panorâmica das mudanças que se produziram a nível do emprego, do trabalho e das condições de vida na Europa, de acordo com os dados recolhidos pelas atividades de investigação da Eurofound em 2021. Este anuário resume igualmente as conclusões da Agência sobre outros desafios da vida social e económica (entre os quais a igualdade de género no emprego, a desigualdade na distribuição da riqueza e a escassez de mão de obra) que terão um impacto significativo na recuperação da pandemia, na resiliência face à guerra na Ucrânia e no sucesso da transição para um futuro verde e digital. A investigação da Eurofound sobre as condições de vida e de trabalho na Europa disponibiliza conhecimentos que contribuem para o desenvolvimento de políticas sociais e para a concretização da visão da Agência de «ser a principal fonte de conhecimento da Europa para uma vida e um trabalho melhores».

O anuário é acompanhado pelo relatório anual de atividades consolidado de 2021, que é o relatório formal da Agência sobre operações, pessoal e orçamentos - ver conteúdo relacionado.
