The Management Board (formerly the Governing Board) of Eurofound represents the social partners and national administrations of the 28 Member States as well as the European Commission along with a non-voting independent expert appointed by the European Parliament. Representatives of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) who are parties of the European Economic Area (EEA Agreement) may attend the meetings of the Management Board as observers. The Management Board provides strategic orientation for Eurofound’s activities. It meets once a year in Dublin.
An Executive Board (formerly Bureau) of 8 members meets more regularly (at least three times a year, usually in Brussels) to facilitate the work of the Management Board. Approved minutes of the Management Board and Executive Board are publicly available.
